MEMS Variable Attenuators
The MEMS Electrical Fiber Optic Attenuator family is based on a proprietary micro-optic integrated design, features industrial leading performance in low insertion loss, low WDL/PDL, and low cost. The MM series of electrical VOAs are designed to be used in a close loop arrangement for precision power control/balance applications. The MM VOAs are conveniently controllable by a direct electrical current signal and compatible with commercial ASIC chips. The MM VOA series is in full compliance with the Telcordia 1209 and 1221 reliability standards. We currently offer configurations in single channel and integrated tap versions. An evaluation/development kit that include driver and output tap is available for these products.
