Based on Si micro-machined switching cores, the MEMS Fiber Optic Switch family features industrial leading performance of high reliability of over billion switching cycles, latching, low cost, and  excellent optical performance over a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The switches have no organic materials in the light path. . The patent pending MENSLatch™ switch is a world first optical MEMS that latch to the position after the electrical power is removed.  The switching state is highly stable against environmental variations of temperature and vibration due to its unique design. With a build-in driving circuit, they are conveniently actuated by 5V electrical pulses. This series of switches are designed to meet the most demanding Carrie-class and out-door optical switching applications

We currently offer configurations in 1x1, 1x2, full 2x2 and 1xN configurations in both polarization independent and polarization maintain versions.
